Rishi Kommalapati
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2023, and am currently a graduate student in the same department. I work with Professor Carlos Portela, studying the dynamic behavior of metamaterials.
In Spring 2024, I also served as a TA for the undergraduate course Mechanics and Materials II.
I have a great passion for design and making, and my interests lie in the fields of Design/Manufacturing and Mechanics.
Through projects and classes I have gained skills mechanical design, simulations, all manner of mechanical experiments. I love learning and expanding and updating what I know. Send me your fun facts! I collect them :).
